Waiting rooms at railway stations and bus stations and airports and the like are curious places. Railways and buses and aeroplanes are all about travel, all about journeys, all about going places. You go to the railway station to get on a train and go some place. You go to the airport to get on a plane and go some place further away, faster.
And yet you go there…and you wait.
