Pickled Onion Monster Munch
This is a food recommendation and it was added on Saturday March 4, 2006 by John Keane. permanent url
Image is from the Walkers website. It's theirs, not mine.
First of all, note that it must be Pickled Onion flavour. Secondly, note that it must be proper Monster Munch, with actual cartoon monsters on the packaging. No cheap imitations.
Flavour
The flavour is sharp enough and particular enough that, like Twiglets and Marmite and Brown Tea, you either love it or hate it. And like all good crisp flavours, it doesn’t taste much like what it says it is. Pickled onions? Hardly, but that’s a good thing. No-one wants to eat crisps that actually taste like pickled onions.
Monsters
Of course, this is what it’s really about. Monster Munch are shaped like paws, or claws, or something like that. What I don’t get is whether they’re monster feet, so eating them is like being a monster, or people feet, so eating them is like being a monster. Either way, it’s monsters, and that’s mischief.

I would dispute this nonsense:
